Illuminated plant stand

A wall-mounted decorative piece, made for the purposes of holding ultiple plant pots. The pot holders are attached to an illuminated Plexiglass. The edges of the Plexiglass shine when they are exposed to light.

An imitation of a fireplace, which serves as a video and stereo TV cabinet. It comes with little doors made for the purpose of masking the TV. This piece was designed and made for a client.

Island
|
|
A large island-type registration desk, with a built-in documentation bookcase. The cabinets of the desk are made out of plywood in a birch veneer, and the countertops are made out of stone. The attached photos portray a drawn plan of the piece, as well as photos which show certain steps of creating the desk and the cabinets. This piece, made and designed by me, was commissioned by the reception of a hospital, and it serves as a registration desk for the patients of the clinic.

Gilded flower stand
|

Renewal of a gilded flower stand. Missing elements of the flower stand were replaced, as well as a new layer of a gold-imitating material being laid out. This piece was renewed for a client.

Renewal of a chair made out of bent elements. The veneer on the seat of the chair got replaced and touched-up. The missing elements of the chair were restored so that they don’t differ from the original. This piece was renewed for a client.

W.George’s desk
|
|
Restoration of W.George’s desk. Loose side elements of the desk were re-glued, and missing elements were replaced. The desk had a new layer of lacquer varnish laid out, as well as having some touch-ups made. A layer of beeswax was laid over for the purpose of securing the piece. This desk was restored for a client.

Front Railing

Restoration of a front railing, from a house that was originally designed by architect Frank Floyd Wight. Any of the missing elements were remade for the piece and later reattached to the railing. Any loose elements were reglued back on. The piece was later painted over with a layer of light brown paint. This piece was restored for a client.

Rocking chair

Restoration of a rocking chair made from bent elements. The slack was reduced on the joint pieces of the chair. New cane netting was fitted, and the chair got a new finish. This piece was restored for a client.

A restored decorative figure obtained from an old church. It now serves the purpose of a decorative piece of an apartment. The decoration is made out of plaster, and is painted over with oil paints and coated in silver flakes.

Tin sculpture

|
Restoration of a tin figurine, which was fragmented. The loose elements of the fragmented figurine were glued back together, and all of the missing pieces were replaced. Piece-improving touch-ups were also made. This piece was restored for a client.

Marble sculptures

Conservation of marble sculptures, which were slightly broken. Broken elements of sculptures of two lions and a giraffe got re-glued (particularly their tails). The sculptures were cleaned from impurities and later preserved . These pieces were fixed for a client.

Wooden sculpture

A slight restoration of a wooden sculpture made for the purposes of refreshing it. The piece was vacuumed, cleaned and a layer of beeswax was applied.

Butterfly
|
|
This wall-mounted decorative piece was made in collaboration with an artist. The plaster butterfly was made entirely by the artist, and the wooden frame was made by me. The frame is made out of maple wood, covered with a walnut veneer. The frame was assembled from individual triangular elements, which created a circle.

Fireplace housing

A custom-designed and made imitation of a fireplace, which serves the purposes of housing an electric heater. The base of the fireplace is used as a storage for video tapes. It is made out of plywood in an oak veneer, and the mantel is entirely made out of oak wood. It is finished-off with marble tiles.

Marble figure

A shattered marble figure, which was glued back together with resin glue and its missing elements were supplemented with a composite filling. The piece got cleaned thoroughly and sealed with bees wax. This figure was restored for a client.
